Triad Rocked CEDIA with the CinemaPlus Demo!

The CinemaPlus demo took place in an engineered room, built from “scratch” within the shell of a medium-sized sound room, on the show floor at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta.

Complete with acoustical isolation, sheetrock walls, isolated HVAC, and everything needed to provide a quiet environment, the CinemaPlus demo delivered a truly dynamic theater performance. The featured CinemaPlus package (System 3) boasted three Triad Platinum LCRs, six Triad Gold Surrounds, and twelve Triad-built CinemaPlus subwoofers - each of which utilizes a long-throw 12 inch driver and a 500 watt RackAmp DSP500.

In addition to CinemaPlus, demonstration partner SIM2 provided their C3X Lumis Host 3-chip DLP projector with SCORE motorized anamorphic lens system to be showcased on Screen Research's 102" X-Mask™ featuring a native 2.35:1 image ratio, lateral masking, and its ClearPix2™, THX and ISF certified acoustically transparent screen material. Integra provided their DHC-9.9 Preamplifier Processor and DBS-30.1 Profile 2.0 Blu-ray players. Finally Serious Materials provided QuietRock® 525 sound reducing drywall, QuietWood® 630 panels, THX-certified QuietHome Doors, QuietGlue®, QuietSeal® and QuietPutty®, to help create a uniquely quiet experience at the 2009 CinemaPlus demo theater.

Salling upon many years of theater design experience, as well as its long-standing relationship with Triad products, PMI has developed three theater audio systems for dedicated rooms. These systems deliver uncompromising results in virtually any room size. Each CinemaPlus system is comprised of Triad speakers, PMI Design/Engineering services and MSR Acoustic Treatments.

What It's All About...
Custom loudspeaker solution manufacturer, Triad Speakers, Inc., announced that they have partnered with Anthony Grimani’s Performance Media Industries, LTD (PMI) to deliver three high-performance audio solutions for home theater.

Now available, each of the three solutions will be comprised of the same core design and engineering service from PMI, Triad’s top-of-the-line loudspeakers and a full ensemble of acoustic treatments. The three turnkey systems represent the very best that Triad has to offer.

“ Triad and PMI have a long history of working together to deliver some of the world’s best sounding home theaters. The next logical step was for us to standardize several turnkey solutions for the dealer,” says Triad’s director of sales and marketing Paul Scarpelli.

Drawing from many years of practical experience with Triad products, PMI focused on the company’s InRoom Gold Monitors and Platinum LCRs to optimally serve rooms defined as small, medium and large, based on cubic volume. Integration of each of the three systems begins with the development of a room-specific, engineered plan set by PMI. The 36-page plan set will guide the entire project team in placing the listeners and all loudspeaker components, as well as the specified acoustic treatment system.

“ The acoustic character of any room damages the performance of even the finest loudspeaker systems,” added Grimani, “By implementing the PMI plan set, the Triad dealer will be able to provide its customer with incredibly high performance and fully utilize the performance of the Triad speaker products.”

All three systems include speakers, PMI Design & Support and MSR Acoustic Treatments.
